  • Transaction identifiers for reconciliation purposes

2.3 API Usage Data

When you make requests to our APIs, we automatically collect technical and usage information:

  • API endpoint accessed (subtitles, summarizer, timestamps)
  • Request timestamps and response times
  • YouTube video IDs processed through our APIs
  • Request parameters and output formats selected
  • API response status codes and error types
  • Rate limit consumption and quota usage
  • Thumbnail resolutions requested (for Thumbnail Extractor API)

2.4 YouTube Content Processed

Our APIs process publicly available YouTube content on your behalf:

  • Subtitles/Captions: We temporarily process subtitle data from YouTube videos to provide you with formatted output. This data is not stored permanently.
  • Video Transcripts: For summarization and timestamp generation, we process video transcripts through AI systems. Transcripts are processed in real-time and not permanently stored.
  • Video Metadata: We may temporarily access video titles, durations, and language information to provide accurate results.

Important: We do not store, archive, or retain YouTube video content, subtitles, transcripts, or any media files beyond the duration necessary to fulfill your API request.

3. How We Use Your Information

8.2 YouTube

Our APIs process publicly available content from YouTube. When you use our APIs to access YouTube content, YouTube's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to that content. We do not control YouTube's data practices.

8.3 AI Processing Services

For summarization and timestamp generation, content may be processed through third-party AI services. These services process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements and do not retain your data.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
